Really like their commentary and talking/thinking in real time as they record. Just a thought, I think they live in modern times and the failsafe is gas they kills anyone as they leave so they can’t escape and go back to society. If they do, then the experiment is exposed. The founders would rather kill everyone than have it be exposed, so they gas the outside.
Enjoyable but I do agree with previous reviewer that some details are off. For example, in Into The Fire, Bernard is in the Sheriff’s office - not IT - there at the end. That’s one of a few things from that episode that were incorrect in the discussion, making things even more confusing for an already head-scratching show.
I haven’t listened to the rest of the show yet - just came here after watching season 2 finale. For future episodes (season 3-4), I think this show could be improved by just ... more
No idea what that other review is saying , but this is literally the best, in-depth solo coverage from someone refusing to read the books in order to speculate and be surprised.
I want to listen but you guys just get so many things wrong. I’ve not read the books but I really think you guys need to watch the show 2-3 times and maybe take some notes before talking because you are just missing details left and right. This is the 3rd episode I’ve tried to listen but giving up based on this
I always enjoy hearing their thoughtful views on various shows. They watch the episodes multiple times, but in this case, they haven’t read the Silo books, so they can speculate more freely than other podcasts.

This podcast offers insightful commentary and analysis on the dystopian Apple TV+ series, focusing on character dynamics, plot developments, and the overarching themes of survival and power within a controlled society. Across various episodes, hosts engage deeply with complex narratives, exploring how characters react to intense challenges and moral dilemmas, particularly amidst the backdrop of rebellion and authoritarianism within the silo setting. A distinctive feature is the hosts' willingness to speculate on storylines based on their interpretations, enhancing the discussion for both casual viewers and dedicated fans alike.
