  • Laughter through tears

Is it normal to cry and laugh and cry again in every episode? I’m still an expat but I think about the same issues ALL THE TIME. It’s like talking to a friend who really gets you.

  • Repat Tribe!

As a recent repat I have found listening to your interviews extremely comforting. It is so disconcerting to be back in the UK. We have been on the road for 15 years and covered 4 continents and 5 countries - and coming ‘home’ is the greatest challenge I have faced yet! Thank you for connecting me with others in a similar position.

I’m a forever expat and I wanted to join in the discussion when you guys started talking about the things that are good about the US. So funny the whole grass is greener thing. I could have listed a good 20 things that I miss so so so much... more

  • So relatable!

I may never be a 'repat', but I live my life as an expat and it is so nice to listen to a podcast where people totally *get* your life when many people from 'home' don't. I love the stories! Looking forward to your new episodes!
