The Escafil Files is a book analysis podcast where one die-hard fan and one newbie start yet another podcast about Animorphs, the children’s book series by K.A. Applegate. We will be making our way through the books one by one, analyzing the themes and how they stand up to time, and sharing the experience with our friends on Discord. Episodes will be released biweekly.

Danielle (our diehard fan) and Jade (our newbie) are really enjoyable to listen to as they make their way through the Animorphs series, discussing each plot, characters, the good, and the bad. The hosts take a painstaking approach to reviewing Animorphs, going through each book with detail and enthusiasm. If you want a play-by-play, or if you've never read Animorphs and you want to know the story, then this could be a good fit for you. They gush about the characters and the story, but also will point out the rough patches and less savory author decisions.
It’s really fun getting to listen to these two revisiting and experiencing Animorphs together, getting to see new tales on something that is deeply loved by many people for a long time.
