  • Episode 460 inspiring to hear such advocacy for self care!

Great to hear that a coach for the high performance says its more important to look after self, get proper sleep so you can be your best self rather then just hustle hustle and driving yourself into

    The group.

I know a lot of hard work is required and that’s not easy, but looks after yourself will keep

You afloat though the tough times! And allow you to prosper!

Q: OK, now Denise, how do you test something so you get it to market really quick, like the Debye bar?
We test rapidly by launching early with available packaging, then iterate based on what customers respond to, watching for online orders and in-store demand to scale production quickly.
EE505 - Mentor Moment: Timo Boldt: Why Great Businesses Embrace Complexity
Q: So at what point did you do your first raise?
I invested my life savings, then raised a small initial round from friends and family, followed by angels who brought critical operational input. That first around totaled around £100k, which then led to larger rounds as momentum built and expertise was added.
EE504: Sean Noble, Hyrox Elite 15: The Pain, Science and Obsession Behind the Rise
Q: What is your approach to training and recovery as a self-coached athlete?
I focus on a hard day/easy day structure, with two hard sessions packed into a single day and easier days centered on strength and specific skills. Recovery is key, with careful planning of nutrition and rest between sessions to maximize quality in subsequent workouts.
EE504: Sean Noble, Hyrox Elite 15: The Pain, Science and Obsession Behind the Rise
Q: How did you decide to leave your career as a solicitor to become a full-time athlete?
I recognized a unique opportunity in a growing sport, saw German events selling out, and understood there was real potential to build a career as a professional Hyrox athlete. After weighing the long hours and the reality of the sport's growth, I chose to commit fully, supported by sponsorships and the possibility of prize money.
