These two highlight how well 8s and 3s can team up in a leadership/work environment.
8s IN RELATIONSHIP ● We've heard you all have a lot of trouble with 2s. This is an example of how awesome they can be in friendship. They are the soft landing we rarely get.
8s IN RELATIONSHIP ● We found a 1 we like!!!! Kate's mom, Jan, talks about raising an 8 and why she often felt like she lost every battle. But, she also shares that her 8 daughter was/is her greatest encouragement as well.
8s IN RELATIONSHIP ● Jo's little sister is a type 9, and she's SO grateful for that. Jo always knew what to do, and said so. Katie (type 9): "I kinda like being told what to do." Enough said right there.

This isn’t a podcast for enneagram beginners since they don’t go as in depth to the basic ideas but if you’ve got an 8 in your life, or you are an 8 even in your tri type this will be so helpful to you.
I’m a 3w2 but I dabble in 8 a lot and it’s second in my tri type. When I first test to 8 I was in complete denial (go figure) so I’m slowly learning more about my 8ness and found myself relating so deeply to the hosts. Thanks for being vulnerable when it’s so challenging to do, you are helping ... more
Personally thought asking for donations in the intro was a turn off. Not for me
This was helpful to understand some enneagram 8s in my life. Also cringey and triggering to listen to at times, and because there are no other numbers represented on the episodes I’ve listened to, there’s obviously a big 8 bias. As we know, 8s are not always objective about themselves or others. i.e. in the “tougher than you” episode intro , “I’m beginning to see where my strength ends and someone else’s begins…where my flexing stops benefiting someone else and just starts to make them feel smal... more
Great content. Inconsistent episodes. Never know when a new episode is coming.
This is the best podcast to learn about Enneagram 8’s. Another great podcast on the enneagram 8 with the tritype 873. Thanks, for creating the Enneagram 8 podcast. I am enjoying the interviews with different tritypes. Keep up the great work, Jo and Erin. Hopefully, you will interview an 835 Tritype, which is my Tritype.
