Who have they made this podcast for. Totally dumbed down.
Please! Bring back Charles Rowe! He was excellent! This girl you have now is pitiful! Your podcast has gone BAD!
Such a great episode. Loved the details
Deserves more reviews and listeners, well made, great tone, lots of info, from the top people in their field. Totally worth making the time for. No sensationalism, just thinking and explaining about the historic buildings and culture. May I single out dr Michael carter as bringing interest to potentially dry and obscure areas of our history and showing us why we should value this period more than we seem to. Brilliant
Not sure what audience this is aimed at but it is no longer me. Just tell the interesting scholarly stories. No need to oversell it. To say I miss the old podcast is a major understatement.

Standout aspects include a strong emphasis on scholarly perspectives, cross-institution collaborations, and accessible storytelling that still respects rigorous research. Potential listeners can expect thoughtful, object-driven history with deep dives into artifacts, sites, and their cultural meanings, plus occasional contemporary reflections on how h... more
