The Outbound & Discovery Playbook: How Elite Recruiters Close More Deals (with Conor Kline)
Q: What are some good questions that I could potentially ask to start figuring out some of the pain points that I have?
One is like Sandler. A good one is like MEDIC, which stands for Metrics, Economic Buyer, Decision Process, Decision Criteria, Identifying the Pain and Champion.
The Outbound & Discovery Playbook: How Elite Recruiters Close More Deals (with Conor Kline)
Q: Why is the discovery part one of the most important parts of the whole process?
Essentially, what discovery means is basically just understanding everything that there is to know about your potential client or your lead. The most important part is when you meet with them for the first time, getting them to open up and tell you about the problems that they are facing and what they are looking to solve for.
The Outbound & Discovery Playbook: How Elite Recruiters Close More Deals (with Conor Kline)
Q: What do you think some recruiters are missing before we start talking about some of the ideas and solutions?
I think just structure, right? I mean, if we're sitting there even as like a one-person band, right? If you are not completely regimented in how you're doing that today, I don't think you're going to be very successful.
Advanced Closing Mastery: Steve Finkel’s Framework to Triple Your Placements
Q: How much time should I be spending outside of the office, learning this business?
You should spend significant time outside the office learning and perfecting your skills, as this can massively impact your productivity at work.
Advanced Closing Mastery: Steve Finkel’s Framework to Triple Your Placements
Q: Why did you come to the point where you realized you need to do one more and focus on the art of closing?
There are really good recruiters losing fees because they don't effectively move candidates through the interview process, which highlighted the need for focused training on closing skills.
