A Recruitment Firm That Guarantees Every Placement for 12 Months, with Jessica Multhauf and Lewis Waitt
Q: Are you comfortable talking about compensation and how you structure incentives given your consulting‑style model.
The firm has adapted to a non-traditional compensation scheme where recruiters aren't driven primarily by commissions; they receive substantial salaries and participate in a year-end profit share. This aligns incentives with long-term client success and high-quality hires, reducing pressure for short-term wins and fostering trust with clients.

Use that as a starting point to challenge them on accountability and process failures.
How to Win Retained Recruitment Work Without Pitching Harder, with James O'Brien
Q: How do we differentiate from automation and AI tools which purport to replace external recruiters?
The value proposition has to focus on reducing hiring risks and improving processes.

Q: Why did you build a technology business?
Gerard built a technology business to diversify income streams and make the recruitment agency more resilient by not relying solely on one revenue source.
