One sided reporting with a narrator that sounds entirely AI generated
Virtually unlistenable. The text-to-speech, combined with the writing, cannot keep my attention. I can’t believe this is a subscriber-only feature.
I subscribe because I value and want to support the human talent force at the Economist. It is off putting and eerie to have ai narration insidiously creeping in. This is exactly what I do not want to support.

Come on, you've got the recording studio and the talent - subscribers at least should get a human version. I love the content but I drift off because I can tell it's not a human reading it.
