The Eagle and Child podcast originally caught my attention for a few of the names I already had some interest in, namely Lewis, Augustine, Spurgeon, and Bonhoeffer. But I have absolutely LOVED every single episode I’ve listened to. This podcast has sparked a deep desire in me to learn more about church history and some of the greats whose examples and lives we can now learn from. I eagerly look forward to future episodes. Thanks Layla for this fascinating series!!

Layla is an engaging, witty host. The first episode had me fully engaged from start to finish (full disclosure: I was the guest). Episode 2 was even better, though, and it should just keep getting better from here since she has an amazing series of guests lined up for Season One.
