Sometimes he’ll go on a rant about something and I wonder if he’s joking. The classism of the Simpsons? Drunk history and its tacit support of excessive drinking? Idk man. Some things just aren’t worth getting that worked up about. Gareth is outrageously soy. Holy moly.
Dave, thanks for introducing me to Oysterhead. Rock on!🤟🏻
I listen to these guys when I garden (and I garden all the time) my neighbors must think I’m crazy cuz I’m always busting out laughing randomly while I’m out there. They are hands down the funniest duo I’ve ever listened to. And I’m so glad they have good politics. Like for real good politics and not fake, grifter politics. My favorite is when Gareth does accents and when Dave laughs. I’m always smiling when listening to them. Genuinely great guys.
When twitter became a right wing cesspool, they sucked. When twitter was a left wing cesspool, it was A OK with you guys, right? And don’t forget to mention the government subsidies that Tesla is scooping up were invented purely by liberal democrats 👍🏼👍🏼

A witty history-focused show where two comedians pick a topic from history and unpack it with sharp banter, improv, and entertaining storytelling. The conversations mix obscure historical episodes with modern humor, political commentary, and pop culture riffs, often featuring recurring guests from the comedy world. Noteworthy traits include a distinctive blend of education and entertainment, frequent deep-dives into odd historical figures, and a willingness to tackle controversial topics with humor. The format is well-suited for listeners who enjoy learning through laughs, with a penchant for irreverent takes on past events and cultural quirks.
