I really wanted to enjoy this podcast and have listened to a few but I eventually spend my time counting the ‘likes’ . It’s a common thing but this podcast is particularly bad for it and repeat the word several time in the same sentence. When you’re only a few minutes into an episode and you’re already counting it becomes distracting to the point of annoying. Excellent research and fun but I struggle to finish an episode
Don’t listen to that guy that said to get rid of Tom. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Keep up the good work guys.
Sadly, I learned more about Uganda, Tanzania, Idi Amin, and the Kagera War from this podcast than I did from either school or the news in the rest of my life. Fortunately, I’m pretty sure this is the best way to do it.
Initially it didn’t seem like my cup of tea, a bunch of guys talking military history. Also Joe happens to sound exactly like my ex, so that was touchy through no fault of Joe’s. However, the content was so good I gave it a fair try. I grew to love it so much I joined the patreon and I’ve read most of Joe’s books. I hope one day when things are better, they get to do a live show in the U.S.. I’d love to meet Joe, Nate and Tom. ❤️
Dear god Joe what on earth has happened to this show. Listening to Tom is like nails on a chalkboard - I skip ahead every time he talks. Get back to your roots when you had bring back Nick and Rich- get rid of Tom.
