Often very insightful, but also can review in bad faith sometimes
The only bad thing is they’ve yet to review the movies my dad taught me masculinity through aka original Jurassic Park or Indiana Jones movies. Which I’m sure they’d have the hottest take on!
I like it.
Really enjoy this podcast but underwhelmed by hosts putting the boot into Kevin Spacey's personal life on film review. He has been acquitted in a criminal trial and will undoubtedly not act again notwithstanding so sneery comments out of order. Not much point having a criminal justice system if being found not guilty is treated as a mere piece of incidental trivia

Episodes cover a range of genres from horror to heist films, allowing for a diverse exploration of narratives and cinematic techniques. Noteworthy is the podcast's commitment to critique not only the films themselves but also the cultural contexts in which they exist, often drawing parallels between the film narratives and contemporary societal issues.
