I like the set up of this podcast. But people laughing with me for looking weird and small basically destroyed my life. The name is as offensive as calling it 'dumb fat cat ladies' or something similar. Ironically, the people she talks about don't seem to be small nor weird looking. It just helps perpetuate a stereotype based on physical appearance.
Listening to episodes of Weird Little Guys is scary. The horrors of the past and present are merged. Great work! Terrifying. I reached a new level of terror during the last 5 to 10 minutes of this episode.
We’re in trouble…
I enjoyed the first episode I listened to, and disagreed with some of the reviews that criticized the host’s self-indulgent tangents.
But they were right. The host rambles on about how angry she was for being wrong by mispronouncing the subjects name, Louis.
Holy Christ move on. You don’t need to all that extra time and editing to illustrate how angry you are at yourself for mispronouncing a guys name. That was some of the dumbest podcasting I’ve endured.
The other content is good, and import... more
One of my favorite podcasts, absolutely recommend. Well researched, well delivered!
really informative and engaging; Molly is great however her bad habit of over explaining why an episode is the way it is or some other hyper fixation is something I find very distracting and takes away from the quality of the podcast. Molly people who listen to podcasts like deep dives, just go for it and stop explaining for 5+ minutes. We are not interested in knowing all facets you endured when finding out you mispronounced Louis.

A weekly deep-dive into the origins and activities of modern American white supremacist groups, blending archival research, legal context, and long-form storytelling. Episodes center on investigations, court cases, and the personal journeys of those documenting extremist movements, often weaving in historical parallels and moral reflections. The show is noted for meticulous research, quiet urgency, and a willingness to tackle uncomfortable subjects head-on, making it a go-to for listeners seeking clarity about fringe networks and the people behind them. A standout trait is the solo-host, research-driven approach that treats history like a suspenseful mystery rather than a conventional news recap, with strong emphasis on context, documentati... more
