  • There's so many ads and Molly is kind of condescending to her audience sometimes but her research is top knotch and it's great to someone lifting up the rocks and exposing all the worms to the light

  • Favorite podcast

Every Thursday I look forward to opening podcasts and seeing weird little guys in my feed. Molly is such an amazing researcher and writer. I love how deep she goes into the research, and every side quest story she finds. I need someone to clone her so that we can have more than 1 episode per week!

  • Pace too slow

I love the subject matter and the thorough research, but the pace is way too slow. The host also spends a lot of time talking about herself. Her and her process are not uninteresting, but cut back on it, please.

  • Terribly slow, why does the internet act like she’s a leftist

Very little is covered in each episode. Very slow pacing and not informative, not a deep dive, just empty 45 min episodes. Gave this pod a try during a dry spell of actually historically and politically informative podcasts and it was a waste of time. The host gets a reputation for being a leftist and there is utterly nothing discernibly political or left about the eps I tried
