Consumed during a road trip a couple of year ago, this show kept my attention from the dreary desert. Each episode has a totally different feel, but—if you're paying attention—you'll notice the threads.
A essayer vraiment. Ça ne paye pas de mine, mais tout est bien ficelé, les histoires sont différentes mais on retrouve le fil conducteur à la fin. Bien produit également.
Terrific, surprising stories. A joy to listen to, front to back.
very much enjoying your writing and even more so, your verbal delivery of your stories. You have a great “radio voice”.
Parts of the first story may upset listeners (the dog, as it did me (a dog lover)) but I hope they continue to tune in as I am.
It's too hard to find dog fiction podcasts, good ones at that. This is both, or all- dog, fiction and good so I urge anyone paying attention: . . . Please get your dog fiction out to us!! —— — •• —— – •• ——— – •• —— — •• —— – •• —— — •• —— – •• ——— – •• —— — •• —— – •• I've been rationing remaining episodes but more would be better. —— — •• —— – •• ——— – •• —— — •• —— – •• —— — •• —— – •• ——— – •• —— — •• —— – •• Dog training is fine but not always reaching the people who need it the most. For lack of a better word, what a beautiful podcast. Really good story telling and countless times when I smiled. I wish there were more but I'll take what I can get. One of my new favorites for sure
What a find! Well-written, crisp narration of outstanding stories that both pull you in while you’re listening and resonate with you after.
The Dog is Dead is an audio destination filled with mystery & the strange.
A non serialised anthology with wonderful short stories of mixed genres that captivate your attention & entertain. Taylor Zabloski is indeed the podcast god.
Short elegant storytelling ; a concoction that is a modern version of Twilight Zone.
The preambular statement, “The Dog is Dead “ sets a pattern for every episode.
The narrative plots are particularly clever. The nuances & intricacies of our reality are expl... more
why isn’t this podcast being pushed more? the stories are original and have that undefinable quality that keep you thinking of them long after they’ve ended.
so worth a listen.
This is a remarkable collection of stories.
Creative fun podcast! I was actually said when I heard “this is the last episode.”
This creator is a genius! It’s funny, sad, happy, a whole bag of emotions. It took me a minute to catch up on what was going on. But by episode 2 I was HOOKED!!
This is a fantastic podcast. The writing is first rate, clever, and engaging. Vocal performance is outstanding. I listen to a lot of fiction podcasts, and the Dog is Dead is one of my favorites.
I have made my living as a journalist for 30+ years, but listening to this podcast makes me feel unworthy to call myself a writer. The depth and creativity are amazing, and it is so incredible how distinct and different each story is. Not a single weak episode in the bunch.
Cannot recommend this podcast enough
Second review: Once through was not enough. Before listening to the final give-away, I'm going through them all sequentially, looking for threads. I've found some. What fun to listen the second time in a different angle! This is the kind of creative genius that built Pixar - I love the originality (same starting line, thread weaved throughout, second person angle, sound effects and music...)
First review: Thoroughly enjoyed this. Sound effects were spot on. Storyline captivating. Listened to it... more
