  • So enjoyable

So glad to have found this wonderful podcast and Pitt recaps from real doctors who seem to be friends and have great voices. Will definitely be listening in S2.

One small comment: in the episode with Fiona Dourif, she mentions an event a couple times that i don’t think had taken place by episode 9. So PLEASE edit any spoilers mentioned by future guests.

  • Not Credible

There are many “elephants in the room” that these ladies overlook. They have a tunnel visions of health and are not even discussing how the jab is linked to infertility and hormonal issues in women.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

34. Season 2 Finale: All Your GLP-1 Questions Answered
Q: What should someone do if they experience GI side effects or can't tolerate the standard dosing?
First, reassess dosing and titration with a clinician, consider slower uptitration, and explore formulation differences (oral vs injectable). If needed, a different GLP-1 or regimen may be used alongside dietary adjustments and a dietitian referral.
34. Season 2 Finale: All Your GLP-1 Questions Answered
Q: Can GLP-1s cause damage to the digestive system by slowing it down, like gastroparesis?
Glp-1s slow gastric emptying as part of their mechanism, which can be mild and manageable for most but may cause issues for those with pre-existing digestive motility problems; in such cases, dose adjustments or switching medications may be considered.
34. Season 2 Finale: All Your GLP-1 Questions Answered
Q: Do you have to use Glp-1 forever or can you stop after achieving weight loss?
For most people, stopping the medication leads to weight regain, indicating that GLP-1s are often a long-term treatment. Some patients may taper or adjust dosing as part of a broader lifestyle plan, but the general expectation is ongoing management rather than cure.
32. HPV Positive — Now What?
Q: Does a positive HPV test mean I will get cancer?
No. A positive HPV test indicates exposure to the virus and possible risk, but most infections clear on their own or can be monitored with further testing to catch precancerous changes early.
Special Heart Month Rerelease! Episode 10: Think It’s Not Your Heart? Think Again.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit more about the effect of perimenopause and menopause in terms of their effect on the risk for heart disease in women?
Menopause can significantly affect heart health due to the decline in estrogen levels, which leads to changes in blood pressure and cholesterol, increasing the risk of heart disease.
