A super podcast with great cast (ahaha). The characters are unique and quirky with no tired old edgy backstory in sight (a kickass fighter GRANNY!) and the setting is fascinating. Also a big bonus is that everyone’s voice is very distinct and there is no problem telling everyone apart, something that I find is sometimes a problem when I start listening to a new real play podcast. Also nice that it’s a finished playthrough so you can binge it at your leisure.
I’m currently running this same adventure for a group and listening to this podcast is great prep and entertainment.
This podcast is phenomenal! A great example of a smoothly run real play podcast. The DM is talented and strives to make it a fun experience for the players and the listeners. The cast is the perfect mix of mechanically literate and story driven, with Rudy and TK bringing a very enjoyable splash of chaos to the table. The editing is professional and lends a thoughtful and crisp soundscape to this exciting story. A great job all around! I’m both excited and sad to know the end of the tale is neigh... more
Late to the game but I guess that means I don’t have to wait for new episodes to drop! I’m 19 episodes in and really enjoying the podcast. James is awesome at mixing in the action and drama while making the roles. The PC’s interaction seems natural and often hilarious! Thanks for doing this!
The campaign is tightly plotted, with just the right mix of levity and epic action. The cast is super fun and James Introcaso knows just how to work with them and keep the game flowing and exciting
