  • Hanging with Akroyd

This is an excellent trip down memory lane with one of the greatest dry comedic actors of all time. What an incredible straight man!

From his movies and TV shows to his other ventures, it’s quite a nostalgic journey for anyone who grew up between the 70s and 90s.

Dan is incredibly intelligent yet very flawed. It seems he often plays himself, but an exaggerated version of himself in almost all of his characters.

Thank you for taking us on this trip down memory lane.

  • Why bother?

I’m a big Dan Ackroyd fan. I listened to a few episodes out of curiosity. These hosts have a bare Wikipedia-like knowledge of Ackroyd’s career or the movies they cover. It is insulting that they try to convey reverence or knowledge. Their banter is weak, as well. Don’t waste your time! You’ll learn nothing new and you won’t be entertained by their conversation or analysis.
