Last week, I got an email from a reader that stopped me in my tracks:
Dear Mr. Bloom,My name is Parker and I am 17. I am reaching out because I would like some advice.
I have had a goal and dream since I can remember, being rich and owning some sor... more
In this episode, I explored a framework from Nir Eyal's new book, Beyond Belief, called the Motivation Triangle. Most people think motivation is about behavior and benefit—the actions you take and the outcomes you want. But that misses the most criti... more
Six weeks ago, I shared an embarrassing confession on my phone addiction.

You spoke in the Guru Email Conference on Nov. 7. I am so glad I tuned in to your session because what you said gave me clarity on so many things! You helped put into words what so many of us feel in our gut and think in our minds but struggle to make sense of, understand so we can agree or disagree with and move to a decision to act (or not). Everything he says comes from the heart and experience that’s why I find his info very usable. And I love the idea of email and a podcast that will even solidify his ideas. You don’t have to relate to everything he says but one of his ideas will strike you hard.
It’s a read-aloud of his newsletter, but I’ve found it helpful getting the material through multiple media. If I get the email on the road, I’ll throw on the podcast. Solid content. Thanks Sahil!
