I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the discussion with Len Pennie about the Scots language, poetry, mental health, and activism.
I love this podcast. Nicola is an engaging, dynamic host who always asks different and interesting questions to get the most out of an array of wonderful guests. She knows the right balance of offering her own insight and anecdotes and allowing the guest the spotlight. It’s a wonderful insight into the lives of iconic Scottish people, and the rich culture Scotland has. It’s funny, interesting and warms the cockles like a good dram of Scotch.
Such a brilliant podcast. Nicola has fascinating conversations with some of Scotland’s top creatives. A wee gem of a listen ❤️
This podcast is a great find. A good balance of scottish banter and getting to the heart of culture and life issues. There is an immediate warmth between the guest and host Nicola that immediately feels like you are getting a private listen into their lives. Fascinating guest, my favourites so far have been Alan Cumming and Sanjeev Kholi
Love this podcast. Feels like you are a fly on the wall listening to two friends having a chat. Great to learn more about these well known Scottish artists. The host Nicola has such a natural way of bringing chat out of her guests. The creative challenges and quick fire questions bring such a fun dynamic too. A great addition to the Scottish cultural scene
