Just listened to an episode for the first time, episode 216 with John Gray. Found it extremely interesting!! Specifically the biological/hormonal explanation of behaviors. As a lesbian, I would love to hear from someone who has expertise in working with non-heterosexual couples to touch on the biological/hormonal topics within these types of couples (personally, lesbian couples). It would be fascinating to hear about achieving that balance between two women (or men)!
I love this podcast as an LMFT but OMG is it so annoying to listen to some of the guest. They remind us 100 plus times they wrote a book and gloat about how great they are instead of talking about the actual work.
Thank-you for this beautiful podcast. I’m a non-practicing therapist that found this podcast by chance! It not only helped me normalize my own change while also inspiring me to lean into a new direction I wanted to look into professionally. Thank you Shane and all your guests.
I am not a clinician or coach, but I’ve learned a lot from this podcast. I’ve been working in individual therapy on developing a more supportive. compassionate relationship with myself, and this podcast has provided new frameworks for understanding how I show up in different relationships in my life. Thank you!
Highly recommended for clinicians, individuals, and couples alike!
