America through the looking glass - enter a world where nothing is as it seems.
As America heads into a presidential election, Gabriel Gatehouse dives back into the labyrinthine rabbit warren of American conspiracy culture. This horrifically left-wing podcast essentially attempts to convince you that any right-wing “conspiracy” is false. I found the episode ‘The Jump’ particularly disturbing. It is an hour long attack on a man who hunts down child-traffickers. Why does the narrator hate people who arrests child abusers so much?
This is whole thing is an appalling piece of distorted and deliberate anti conservative propaganda that picks up the liberal ball and just runs with it.
The BBC really has disappeared into a vortex of elitist vanity and metropolitan wish fulfillment, so far away from reality that it looks like actual propaganda
This has been awesome from the beginning and I hope it continues. Gabriel and Lucy are ideally placed to investigate the chaos that sits behind the American psyche - someone has to. I keep an open mind as much as I can but always feel better informed after an episode of this. We need even more, with you know who back in the White House. Enough material for 10 seasons I would think!
I thoroughly enjoy this podcast, but I consider it entertainment and not news.
If you want to understand the weirdness overtaking the US, and then the world, this is the podcast for you. Both fascinating and horrifying, and well-told.
