  • Brilliant and timely

I have been listening to this podcast over the last few weeks as I’m part of the Practioner Health program as a clinician. These episodes are so applicable to all those working within the NHS particularly in Practioner roles and real food for thought. Lee does a amazing job of allowing the guest to have the unrushed and unfettered access to a platform and lots of space to talk. She has a really warm and “enabling” manner with her guests and her technique of “less is more” clearly gets the best o... more

  • Depth and practicality

This podcast has become a staple in my week. As a GP and a therapist, Lee really seems to get the most out of her guests. Through these conversations the guest’s reflections are taken to another level, but also leave you with practical advice and ideas that continue to shape your thinking throughout the week. I really recommend this podcast both on a personal and professional level 🌟

  • Engaging and helpful

Lee not only leads engaging conversations with her guests but they are clearly underpinned by her training as both a gp and CBT therapist. I love the experiential moments she drops in too - i wish there was more practical modelling of psychological tools in podcasts like this!

Why Becoming A New Parent Can Feel So Hard
Q: Julianne, welcome. Could you start by telling us a little about your work and what drew you to this area?
I'm a consultant perinatal psychologist with a long career in supporting families through conception, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. I've focused on preemptive care, diverse paths to parenthood, and helping families navigate the emotional and relational shifts that come with becoming parents.
The Hidden Emotions Behind Clutter
Q: What's a simple first step listeners can take in the next few days if they're struggling with clutter?
Go to a non-emotional space like a kitchen area and drill down on one small cupboard or drawer, analyzing every item and asking why you're keeping it, then decide what to keep based on that reflection.
The Hidden Emotions Behind Clutter
Q: Could you tell us a little bit about what a professional organizer does in your work?
We start by understanding the emotional barriers to letting go, then offer practical and emotional strategies to help clients decide what to keep, what to let go of, and how to manage the process in a way that protects their sense of safety and control.
How ADHD Can Be Missed in Quiet Women
Q: How does ADHD typically present differently in introverted women and what are some practical coaching approaches you use?
She describes internalized, non-obvious symptoms like overthinking, perfectionism, and emotional dysregulation, plus the external masking that hides these traits. Practical coaching focuses on two pillars: addressing emotional beliefs and providing pragmatic structure (time management, buffer time, pacing) that aligns with each person's values.
How ADHD Can Be Missed in Quiet Women
Q: Could you start by telling us a little about your work and what drew you to this area?
Gabrielle Treanor explains she coaches and writes for introverted and sensitive women with ADHD, many of whom discover their ADHD later in life. She discusses how she helps clients connect with their experiences, move past masking, and build strategies that fit quieter, more contained living, including her personal realization of having ADHD.
