  • Host starts the show with left wing talking points.

I only made it 5 minutes in to the first podcast, which is when the host insulates that the Trump administration is similar to the Soviet Union. Not sure how someone who is blinded by their own stupidity can host a factual history podcast.

  • Great Supplement

Just barely watched the mini series. Found out about the podcast after finishing all the episodes. It was still an amazing supplement, despite having been all the way done with the season. A seriously great podcast. Well done and had so much great info. Better than most podcasts that go along side shows, since I feel like it had so much new info. Definitely worth a listen, and the show was amazing. Can't stop thinking about it!

Overall, this was an enlightening show. A few production issues did take me out of it — the voices of the host and subject and often difficult to tell apart, and they are very muffled most of the time (especially episodes 1 and 3).

You can really hear how excited the Mazin gets when he talks about the history of the Chernobyl facility, the Russian politics and structure, the world as it was in the late 1980s, etc. It’s clear he and the show creators took great care in respectfully representing ... more

  • Great mini series

I found out about the Chernobyl miniseries a bit late but absolutely loved it and odd enough I remembered that I was in Europe the summer of 1986 I was 10 years old. While visiting my family and grandparents in my home country of Greece and remembering that the radiation had reached to many parts of Greece as well as other places in Europe. Needing to wash our fruits and vegetables with a special liquid provided by the government to make ourselves feel better about eating potential contaminated ... more
