GOALS does a fantastic job of presenting the case for investing women’s sports in an enjoyable and engaging manner. Caroline’s passion for the women’s sports industry is contagious, and her commitment to increasing the financial investment into women’s sports is inspiring.
6 Stars. Wow. Just finished episode 39 with the owner of the Seattle Storm, Ginny Gilder, and I am blown away. Hearing her tell her story about her Yale rowing experience and the protest from the 70’s was a history lesson in women's sports. And her story about how she and the ownership group came together to buy the Storm in 2008 to keep them in Seattle was also just GOLD. If you’re a women’s sports fan, this interview is a must listen!
Really enjoy listening to this podcast. I appreciate variety of gas and different backgrounds. After being in the women’s sports world, predominantly women’s college basketball I love to keep up on the business side of women’s sports. This is a great and insightful way to do so.
This is my favorite podcast - a must listen for sports fans, supporters of gender equality in sports and consumers who have the power to demand via their pocketbook that there is a business case for investing in women athletes and women’s sports. I listen while I walk and the miles go by as I am inspired by Caroline and her smart, informative guests. And I often find that I need to stop and forward links to the latest podcast to my family and friends! Thank you!
This podcast is a must listen for anyone seeking to become more informed about “why it’s good business to be in the business of women’s sports”. Informative, relevant and impactful show that goes to the top of my queue every time a new episode comes out.
