Ads every few minutes, it's insufferable.
Episodes are super short (25mins +/-) but at least 10 mins are ads and they come in the middle of someone talking. They aren’t even timed to breaks in talking, they can come in mid-sentence. And it’s the exact same 2-3 ads for played 15 times each per episode.
Such a shame. Could have been a good podcast otherwise.
Death and Deceit took my breath away. I listened to Alliance years ago and I absolutely loved Maggie’s honesty and vulnerability in revisiting the story and investigation.
The narrative is interrupted by too many ads, making it hard to focus. Please be less greedy in monetising your show. Maggie is also sometimes overly dramatic and self-obsessed.
Interesting but episodes are shirt and made even shorter by the number of ads.

Across seasons, listeners follow journalists and researchers as they revisit archival records, court documents, and eyewitness accounts to challenge established narratives, expose potential cover-ups, and reveal the personal costs borne by those pursuing truth. A distinguishing angle is the mix of rigorous reporting with intimate, emotional storytelling from lawyers, victims' families, and those tainted by controversial cases, often revisiting cases years later to expose new complexities and unanswered ques... more
