The Breach provides much needed perspective in Canadian media, now more than ever.
Tackles interesting subjects not covered in mainstream media.
The worst parts of liberal arts student union socialism distilled into a podcast.
I have had to reevaluate this as a previous supporter. The Breach is undermining it's credibility by failing to fact check itself. The episode reviewing 2025 has completely failed to report who is the Minister of Agriculture in Canada (isn't Kody Blois, it's Heath Macdonald). And what the heck are they referring to about increasing numbers of animals slaughtered? I'm calling bull and a lack of basis is reality. Seriously, why haven't they been fact checking their episodes?

A hard-edged current-events program that centers on Canadian politics, social movements, and policy debates, with a focus on Indigenous rights, climate justice, migration, and labor. Episodes often feature a panel of organizers, journalists, and scholars who dissect government policy, budget priorities, and international relations through activist and progressive lenses, and frequently critique austerity, militarism, and corporate influence. Notable strengths include candid conversations with frontline organizers and widely varied guest lineups that bring on-the-ground perspectives to complex issues, making it a practical listen for listeners who want informed, morally engaged analysis and concrete takeaways for advocacy and policy work.
