Dr Cloud is kind and very methodical with the way he approaches people and problems. His ability to delve into problems and try to help people is very insightful and encouraging to me!
I appreciate the content. I was very disappointed that the quality of recording is so poor. I expected better. I also wish he would get to the question and answers sooner. There is a lot of going back and forth then he just says “never mind, we’re short on time.”
I enjoy Dr. Henry Cloud on this podcast. He has insight for people with questions for him - by asking questions of them. When giving requested advice his approach is gentle yet firm. I love that he references his favourite scriptures which are many. Plus, he shares several tools to learn to use in relationships and situations.
I love this podcast. When I am feeling down or overwhelmed by something in my life, I always reach for some Dr. Cloud wisdom. He has never failed me. I just keep listening until the information registers. I can see how references to the Bible could be off putting for some; however, as a person who is not particularly religious, I view these references as additional sources of wisdom and not dictates.
I have been listening to this show since 2020.. I was reading some of the reviews and i don’t understand how some people poorly rate this show.. I don’t see where he interrupts people. The only time he does is when he wants to understand better. I only hope i can be as kind, open, and compassionate as him. I love how dr. Cloud relates things back to God and the Bible.
