  • There are better book podcasts

Juvenile and superficial discussion. ‘Weird to me’ is not a useful critical term.

  • They trashed one of my Favorit books (EP 144) and I LOVED it!

It so fun to listen to your energetic, detailed!! opinions and experiences with a book!

You don't focus about “right and wrong opinions” but on the encounter you had with a book and point out specifics/paragraphs to make one understand where you are coming from.

Also its just plain fun and enjoyable content wich can carry meaningful statements.

For me it was clear that i value and love this podcast BECAUSE you hated a book i really liked as a teenager (and still recommend(ed) 😅)

All of these lonely hearts make a god of Singer, and he in turn does this to An... more

  • Please include spoilers!

If you are announcing a book in advance the audience has time to read it or listen to the archived episode after they have read it. Not discussing the end of The Heart is a Lonely Hunter is so disappointing. Avoiding spoilers irritates the listener who spent 50+ mins anticipating a full discussion of the book.
