  • Soothsayer. Town Crier.

This man is 1 of 1.

Bob doesn’t chase trends. The industry may be filled with noise, but Bob cuts through with clarity and conviction. He asks the questions no one else will, and people answer him because they know he actually listens. What you get isn’t spin. It’s truth. And that’s rare.

  • Hayward “interview”

Never heard of this guy but wanted to listen to the Justin Hayward interview. I had to turn it off after 10 minutes. It sounded more like an interrogation or cross examination. At one point he asked Hayward what his financial situation was. You could tell Hayward was put off. It was VERY uncomfortable to listen to.

Long form interviews with music luminaries - found some of the questions to Grace Slick though a bit creepy - do you really need to ask her when she lost her virginity?

I don't think I would ever let my career slip away because I'm too driven. I'm too hungry.

Every manager might get a different deal; I make deals directly with each manager based on their individual needs and projections.
Carl Stubner
Q: What is your ownership structure with BMG?
I'm the sole owner of the company, and while Hartwick was there, he lent me money on a non-callable return of profits agreement.
