  • One of my favourite!

This is one of my favourite wine related podcasts! MJ’s interview style is really good and he gets his guests to tell their stories from a personal perspective. Sad to see this podcast go! However, there are some episodes I will listen to over again because they were that good! Listening from BERMUDA, great show!

Insightful, humorous and good vibes! Absolutely chill!

Perfect for dark fall evenings, mood lighting, and connected HomePods throughout the house.

Not a single bottle of Grenache in our cellar, but I’m looking into it. White Burgundy ✅.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Collecting Time: Brian Lau on Luxury Watches, Whiskey, and Collecting Culture
Q: How did your interest in watches begin, and what shaped your path to One More Time Watches?
Lau recounts growing up in New Jersey, getting his first automatic watch via his cousin, and being drawn to Panerai for its distinct design; his early experiences and forums helped him build knowledge, network, and eventually start a business focused on education and sourcing rather than just selling.
Deep Thoughts: Jack Bittner on Building Legacy Estates and Navigating the Napa Wine Business
Q: How did your path lead you to Accendo Estate and the master-blend concept?
A mix of practical farming experience, leadership roles, and a vision for multivineyard collaboration shaped the Accendo master-blend idea. They leveraged five vineyards with varied elevations and soils to craft a flagship wine that embodies a sense of place across Napa.
Legacy in the Vines: Multigenerational Family, Farming, and Authenticity in Santa Lucia Highlands
Q: How did the SLH come to be known for Pinot Noir as opposed to Cab, which was more common in California historically?
Winemakers explain that Cab never ripened well in SLH due to the cool climate, which nudged producers toward Pinot Noir and later other varietals, driven by climate suitability and the flavor profile that Pinot can express in this terroir.
Legacy and Longevity: Kevin Ferguson on Bay Area Wine, Family, and the Judgment of Paris
Q: What makes your family's wine memorable for you?
The stories and experiences shared with friends and family while enjoying the wine make it special for Kevin.
Legacy and Longevity: Kevin Ferguson on Bay Area Wine, Family, and the Judgment of Paris
Q: What was your first job out of college?
Kevin's first job was working as a TV sports reporter for KMIR TV in Palm Springs.
