  • Truth Filled Bishop

I’ve had the pleasure of being in Bishop Strickland’s Diocese and getting to know him. We need more Bishop Stricklands…many more…our Catholic church is in crisis and he isn’t ashamed to admit what is wrong and what is right within our faith. God protect him and help him.

  • A good, faithful bishop

Bishop Strickland speaks truthfully, faithfully, courageously, clearly, and kindly. He is an example of a good and faithful bishop we need in our time of increased confusion and worldly values. What blessing to be able to hear a bishop speak the truth clearly and courageously as did the apostles. He is one of the few bishops truly exemplify their vocation as an apostle of Christ.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

08 Jul 26 – Suffering, It Bears Fruit
Q: Can you summarize what the article about tolerance in Catholic World Report argued, and how it relates to welcoming people into the Church?
The article emphasizes that Christ's universal invitation means everyone is welcome, but true tolerance requires not endorsing or endorsing sinful behavior; the church must welcome people while remaining faithful to the Gospel and its moral teachings.
24 Jun 26 – Bishop Strickland’s Letter on the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Q: What made you speak out against Notre Dame?
To call leaders to fidelity out of love for the flock, not out of animosity, emphasizing repentance and conversion rather than allowing a path that undermines Catholic teaching.
24 Jun 26 – Bishop Strickland’s Letter on the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Q: What compelled you to write this letter?
It was a combination of concerns about chaos in the Church and society, the month of the Sacred Heart, and a call to pause, reflect, and urge people toward consecration to the Sacred Heart through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
10 Jun 26 – True Devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus
Q: Could you explain paragraph 1950 and how the moral law guides our conduct toward the common good?
The bishop explains that the moral law reveals who we are, how we are made, and how humanity works, guiding individuals and societies toward their final end and the common good, rooted in divine wisdom and love.
10 Jun 26 – True Devotion to The Sacred Heart of Jesus
Q: Do you think that there is a connection between the killing inside the womb and violence in broader society?
Yes. The host and bishop discuss how violence begins with disregard for life in the womb and that protecting the unborn is foundational to safeguarding all life, with the implication that a culture of life reduces violence overall.
