This is probably the only podcast I check in on multiple times per week. It is definitely the most efficient way to stay up-to-date on the rapidly moving events in the Church. Furthermore, Dr. Stine's insight and opinions, clearly demarcated from the information he provides, have been spot on as nearly as I can tell. He is very good at spotting false information as it floats out into the Catholic blogosphere.
Host misunderstands the US Constitution
There is a danger here. The US supreme court may not even take the case but even if it does, recall that the first amendment to the US Constitution applies to the federal government and not to the states. Each state has its own laws respecting religion and speech. Like it or not, each state has the right to apply specific laws per its own respective state constitution in this area just as it does in regulating firearms within its own state borders.
“Papabile,” the Italian word meaning, in essence, “pope-able,” or qualified to be pope, is pronounced puh-PAH-be-lay, NOT papa-BEE-lay. This particular mispronunciation—one of many—is terribly distracting, and undermines the show’s credibility.
Wonderful and informative podcast on current Catholic events from a conservative prospective. A must listen for conservative Catholics.
I love this show! The host knows his material and is kind and knowledgeable. I would recommend this to anyone.

The show centers on perceived crises within the Catholic Church and examines how post-conciliar changes intersect with traditional liturgy, doctrine, and church authority. Episodes frequently critique Vatican II-era reforms, the rise of synodality, and high-profile clergy decisions, while advocating a return to traditional teachings and approaches to parish life. A distinctive thread is a strong emphasis on doctrinal clarity, reverence for sacraments, and a cautious stance toward modernization, often tying current events to historical Catholic sources and prophecies. Notable for a tightly argued, orthodox perspective and sponsorships woven into episodes, which may appeal to listeners seeking a traditional Catholic viewpoint and rigorous, so... more
