Nick and Kyle break down the nuances of The Big Bang Theory and critique its place both in nerd culture and within our own hearts. Also we try as hard as we can to talk about the actual show as little as possible, and instead go on long tangents about the nerdy things we're actually interested in.

Maybe the writers were negotiating their pay during this period because they sure as well weren't drafting whole episodes.
If we are doomed to a life of infinite suffering, we can at least choose what suffering we shall endure.
For real I think this one's just salvaged footage from other incomplete episodes.
I don't think we make that clear enough. Sheldon nasty.

I’ll start by saying I enjoy listening to Nick and Kyle rate episodes of the Big Bang theory. They are good at pointing out character flaws or considering different hypothetical scenarios. Most episodes (after Season 1) they start with a critique and end with saying something like “the episode was fine, there were a few laughs but could have been better if…”. Having binged the series most episodes they give a “good” rating. How they feel about the show is pretty much how I feel about their show... more
I love the fact that y'all "hate" the show so hard that you chose to watch EVERY SINGLE EPISODE! Get actually fucking bent! I like the show and I "hate" to listen to your show! It's pretty transparent... Did you also attack the girls you "didn't like" on the playground in the 3rd grade ?
I've spent the past few weeks binging all 179 episodes and at the end of this journey I feel, well, about the same. However, I can say this podcast is pretty damn okay. I'm a huge fan of TBBT and these guys give a different perspective to one of my favorite shows. While this show shines most when the guys are riffing on their own nerdy interests, they do offer some fun critiques of TBBT. These guys don't take themselves or the show to seriously and that's what makes it so fun. Solid 9/13 stars. ... more
I saw Oppenheimer.
All I could see was Sheldon playing him.

Two hosts riff about a long-running nerd-centric sitcom, pairing sharp critique with broad pop-culture tangents. They balance episode-by-episode analysis with personal nerd recommendations, meta-commentary on writing and aging, and candid reflections on why they keep watching. Highlights include dissecting long arcs, guest appearances, and moments that shaped the show's decade-long run, all delivered with playful banter and a self-deprecating sense of humor. A notable strength is the seamless blend of nerd culture recs, behind-the-scenes observations, and affectionate critique that can appeal to both die-hard fans and casual listeners who enjoy the broader nerd conversation.
A standout aspect is the emphasis on personal tastes and creator ... more
