love the pod, great thoughtful conversations, and so much knowledge about film! re: beatles casting episode… i know james norton best from series 1-3 of grantchester, where he plays a soulful vicar who loves jazz and has a complicated romantic life. he’s very “smooth” and has great charisma but also a certain uncertain and brooding side. i think he will be quite a good brian.
A really enjoyable, thoughtful and insightful angle on the legacy of The Beatles. Highly recommended.
Ed and Matt are really easy to listen to. I like that they don't always agree, and are happy to do so, without being affectedly opposed. They clearly love The Fab Four which is obvious from listening to them. A nice line in humour throughout, but not at the expense of analysis. A really excellent addition to the Beatles podcast collection. Can't wait for new episodes to drop, highly recommended.
Really appreciate this pod! Always fun to listen to, I learn about films I wasn’t aware of, and I dig their critical perspectives!
Great podcast - Well produced, informative and entertaining for all with a love for the Fab Four
