we didn't have much to say about the rocketeer so just one episode this month
Incredibly easy listening, with the hosts chemistry shining through! As a fellow b-grade movie nut, I'm loving the commentary on movies that I know and love, as well as movies I haven't seen yet (which just inspires me to go and watch it). Love it and would highly recommend!
Five stars.
Loving this podcast so far, just started listening a few weeks ago, but love seeing that a new one is available when I update my podcasts app. Fun and informative! G'day from Baton Rouge!
This is a great podcast. Very entertaining, even if asian stuff and wrestling aren't your thing. After issues with the streaming of podcasts, I've gone to the darkside and downloaded itunes, just so I can listen to Ben and co. Interesting guest hosts, Freddy's sense of humour, Raymond's laugh, Dary's loud girly voice and of course the ever present Ben, who is the heart and soul of the podcast. If you haven't already, give it a go, it's great.
I've listened to only a few of these, but enjoy what I've heard. I learned about this show from 80s Picture House. I know very little about Asian movies, only Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Bruce Lee movies. So I started on the Wheels on Meals episode. I haven't watched wrestling since September 2014, so listening to the wrestling talk kind of helps catching me up, not really missing much. I also like the Dot Points episodes, I keep forgetting to watch Kung Fury, and this show reminded me about it. Gr... more
Been listening to Asiamania for ages and it's brilliant. Ben and Freddy are both fantastic on the show as they talk about what they have been watching and playing, as well as a bit of wrestling too! Long may it continue :)
This is a great entreatment show, the Aussie hosts are captivating and very into there asian films and music. There is also a round up of all tv movies and rasslin
Being as that I know precious little of Asian cinematic, gaming or sporting culture I regard each of Ben and Freddy's outings as another bit of education. Not too crass, not too flashy, a really solid show delivered by two obvious fans of the various subject matters.
Ben & Freddy present a show that is a mix of Gaming, Movies and Wrestling. The bit that makes it stand out is the Asian focus as they cover Japanise wrestling, Korean movies and anime as well.
Really worth the listen!
Took a listen on recommendation from friends, really enjoyed the chat from the guys, great to listen to and might even take a look at Hannibal after hearing your views!
Bit of a wrestling fan too, will be tuning in again.
This podcast will definitely have something for you no matter what your tastes are. Ben leads the show (joined by various people across all the episodes) and the chat covers Asia based movies (as well as movies worldwide), anime, wrestling, music, TV, and much more…all done in a typical laid back ‘Ozzie’ way that makes for very easy and enjoyable listening.
I've listened to this podcast from the beginning and love the wasy style of 2 mates talking about all things Asia related... and a bit of wrestling. Love listening to their accents too : )
(Ben has a HUGE fan base here in Wales, we call him the Tasmanian Tease : )
If you're not sure, download and give it a go I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
