Beautifully told, touching, human story. I was hanging on to every minute of every episode. Thank you iO for taking us on your journey. And for the introduction to Light Asylum.
I’m listening to Billy Balls for the 4th time through, and I’m still crying and laughing and feeling every emotion as if it were the first time. I’ve listened to A LOT of podcasts, and this one absolutely tops the charts. The content is captivating, the characters rich and engrossing. It’s super well edited and excellently reported.
IMHO, Billy Balls is one of the best podcasts ever made. Perfection!
Billy is a speed addicted, gun toting, woman beating, freak that stabbed a woman in the face with a fork. Rebecca is also a speed freak. Yet, the inclination is to not believe the police report. IO’s dad’s response couldn’t be any more dumb. He's a complete enabler. It was weird he says, i never saw her sleep🤡 This podcast was enjoyable to listen to until 9 & 10. Dads a total “ booger boy”!!!
A joy to listen to. Everything done to perfection. Of course the story is interesting but I was most in awe of the editing and delivery
I grew up on the LES in the 70s & never heard of Billy Balls. is this fiction??
