Deep heat, dodgy knees, last minute fill-ins and all the other unfiltered realities of playing for fun. The Back Court combines humorous observations from the world of netball, relatable anecdotes, and community stories with a tiny hint of news and analysis. With our trademark irreverence, we chro... more

This podcast is bad. The male host is arrogant, not funny, often rude/offensive, and appears to know little about netball, so I’m not sure what the point of the show is. I actually don’t think he likes netball.
There’s actually very little netball talk in the episodes, and if there, it’s not offering any analysis or news that fans wouldn’t already know. If the aim is bringing in new netball fans, I highly doubt it’s doing that either.
Also, your tagline ‘Nanna’ is grammatically incorrect.
Where has this podcast been all my netball loving life. Love it
It’s good stuff. Funny. Don’t listen to the reviews from the haters. You can get your deeper analysis somewhere else and this fits a nice niche
Hannah is insufferable
i think this is the official netball australia podcast? at least it’s advertised that way. from a podcast like that i’d love more netball analysis about the games, what happened who played well etc. there’s about 5 minutes of that and then there’s fluff - for the other 40 minutes which is agonising. i really don’t care about a random netball league in victoria. i’d love something like new zealand’s inside netball where they interview players and critically analyse their games.

A playful, irreverent netball show that blends light analysis with banter, personal anecdotes, and fan engagement. Episodes frequently center on team signings, round results, and on-court drama, while peppering in relatable stories from everyday netball life, quirky bits, and occasional interviews. The format strikes a balance between accessible game context and personality-driven humor, making it appealing for casual fans who enjoy behind-the-scenes chatter and community vibe more than heavyweight analytics. A standout trait is the hosts' willingness to poke fun at themselves and the sport, creating a welcoming, club-like atmosphere that invites listener participation and banter.
