What is the Average Watts Podcast you ask. Well, as cyclists we measure our fitness by power output, or otherwise known as WATTS. Watts are the measurement that separates us mere mortals from the pros. Average Watts is a podcast where an average cyclist with average watts, sits down for 1-on-1 conversations with cycling pros, ex-pros and industry professionals.

The interview style really gives some insight from the guest rather than just talking over the guest the whole time like some others. Good variety of content as well.. also - bought a 4iiii power meter recently after hearing about them on the pod. Keep it up
Rob and Taylor’s interviewing style provides an inside look into the lives of these great athletes that I haven’t heard before. It is awesome to hear that they are human just like us.
Being a guest on The Average Watts podcast for episode 1 was an absolute pleasure. Rob is someone who keeps the mood light, casual, and inviting. This is something that is truly appreciated and steers the show in a more natural direction, rather than feeling scripted. Rob is as genuine as they come, and his passion for the sport is evident when listening to the show. It has been a pleasure to co-host a handful of episodes with him. 5 stars all around!
I was a guest on the show and I can say that this podcast is all about genuine conversations about our sport. Rob and Taylor were inviting and the conversation flowed naturally as if we were out on a group ride or catching up after a race. Rob works hard to get prominent and interesting figures in US cycling as guests and it makes for a great listen.
Great podcast with real conversations with interesting guests of all walks of life and disciplines on 2 wheels. I don’t use a power meter on my bike so don’t let all of that throw you off if you think it’s 24/7 geek talk. Give his podcast a whirl of you want to hear real conversations between folks who just love to challenge themselves and ride hard.
