  • Not enough liberal perspectives

This podcast will have people from the far right discuss their nonsense religious views but wont hear anyones perspective whose more than a little left of center.

Also just get a witch to talk to if you want to learn about witchcraft rather than have a guy who went to a pagan event give his opinion of us from the outside.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Audie & Ari on Ambition, Purpose, Poetry (from The Sam Sanders Show)
Q: What drew you to the concept of blue dot fever and its impact on touring economics?
We unpacked how rising costs for travel and production aren't matched by higher artist revenues from streaming, which pushes the industry toward bigger venues and premium experiences, while fans push back on price and access.
The 'Summer House' Scandal and Andrew Lloyd Webber On Revivals
Q: Was it difficult to allow someone to turn Phantom of the Opera into something like a haunted house?
He describes a long-term perspective on theatre versus cinema and explains how theatre shows can live on and evolve when entrusted to new interpretations.
The 'Summer House' Scandal and Andrew Lloyd Webber On Revivals
Q: What do you attribute this renaissance of your work to?
Webber explains wanting to let older shows be reinterpreted by new teams and generations, embracing reinvention and collaboration rather than clinging to the original form.
Ramy Youssef Wants Everyone to Laugh
Q: I have to ask you about the show because there's funny things in the show. You talk about being at a point in your personal life where you're not sure about having kids; can you explain that dynamic?
Ramy describes wrestling with whether to start a family, the difference between his personal timeline and his parents' expectations, and how that tension informs the humor and emotional honesty of his work.
When the Bookie Is in Your Pocket
Q: How did you approach gambling when you started, and what did you think it would reveal about sports betting?
I believed I could understand the system well enough to win, thinking I was the exception, and Nate Silver's guidance exposed that the odds and house edge made consistent winning nearly impossible.
