I continued to listen to and enjoy Vibe Check but I really mourned his departure from "It's Been A Minute" -after which I lost interest in NPR weekend shows.
We love Sam Sanders. He is a balm for the mind and soul. And hilarious! The Bob the Drag Queen episode has been my favorite so far — I love that he can have a panel discussion with two writers / podcasters about the pop culture topic of the hour AND he can sit down with people like Bob and get use thinking and laughing. More Sam always! <3
Halfway through the Hipster Grifter episode and wishing that she could get a word in edgewise. Sam is clearly knowledgeable and has a lot of context to add, but his questions are in paragraph form and he’s finished her sentence at least twice. Feels more like I’m eavesdropping on a first date where he’s studied her insta than an interview.
