I really liked the first season of this podcast, I think it’s a great idea, adult children talking to their parents. Just your average family. Then came season two, and suddenly it’s “celebrities” doing it, for me Vanessa Feltz still isn’t someone I want to hear talk, just always seems fake and manufactured, which for me has ruined it, I don’t feel it comes across as honest or heartfelt as season 1 did, such a shame, once again something good ruined by the need for a “celebrity” edition.
As a psychotherapist I listened to this podcast for the first time and the way you describe your life and how you framed your life choices
It was painful to hear that you fail to understand the meaning of your use instead you commit to a narrative that is a failed strategy of your survival
My advice to you is go to talk therapy commit to that for many years so that the suppressed feelings can be felt through I hope you hear this podcast again probably wake up something as you ask yourself more... more
Enjoyed listening to every single one of the episodes. Fantastic, brave and deep conversations. What a brilliant idea.
What incredible stories, can’t wait for each week to come out, hard hitting and inspiring stuff! 5/5!
I’ve really enjoyed previous episodes but listened to Jamie & Jamie and felt him to be an arrogant self-opinionated selfish individual. I felt sorry for his Mother although she’ll be fine as long as she agrees with him.
