I’ve been a lover of the desert my whole life and randomly found this podcast about a year ago, looking to learn more about the Anasazi’s.
Thomas is a smart guy and an excellent story teller. Thank you for what you do.
I look forward to your pod cast and it’s a real treat to listen to it and I love the music!
This is a great podcast about a region and history that is not often covered. Also the host has a velvety southern drawl which makes it even better to listen to.

The listener is guided through 4 episodes of the tragic ending of a lonesome teenage desert drifter who is a writer, poet, and artist of the SW four corners region in 1931-1934. Traveling with numerous burros, sometimes a rez dog, meeting people of the Hopi and Navajo tribes, archeologists, local small town residents and the landscape itself.
Can’t wait to hear so much more history of
the SW in which I live and... more

TWR delivers the material in an easy-going tone, as if it were being imparted around a campfire-occasionally diverting to relate personal amusing stories. He often ... more
