  • Going downhill

Sad that the show that I’ve listened to all my life is in this kind of shape. NBA finals week and all we get for 30 minutes is Jim yelling about how great Wemby is. Not even a Thunder fan and it’s exhausting to listen to him go on and on like he can do no wrong. Jim is just getting old, uninformed on many topics as of late. Going off on people before he even understands what they’re trying to say. Used to be a great show with banter and a good storyline. Now it’s just an hour and a half of him c... more

  • Sooo BAD!!!!

I’ve listened to this show for a good portion of my life. It has gotten sooo bad over the last couple of years. Traber very little clue bout some of the things he talks about. I thought Revis was the worst producer/personality I’ve ever heard on the radio and I still think that, but Sam Humphrey is giving him a run for his money!!!!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Hour 2: SGA vs. Wemby – Who Gets More Hate?
Q: Do you think social media is affecting referees or the way players are judged?
The discussion suggests that while referees may not be paying explicit attention to social media, the presence of online narratives can influence perceptions of players and teams, and management commentary can exacerbate those narratives.
Hour 2: SGA vs. Wemby – Who Gets More Hate?
Q: What is your take on the officiating from last night?
Overall, the host and caller agree that officiating allowed physical play in the first half but tightened later, with disagreement on whether this helped or hurt the game and on how aggressive teams should be; they also discuss the balance between letting players play and calling fouls to prevent excessive contact.
Full Show: Did the Knicks Just Win the NBA Finals?
Q: What did you think about Wembanyama's performance in the closing moments?
The host argues that Wembanyama's late-game struggles were a combination of pressure and strategic missteps by the Spurs, and that the loss reflected broader issues rather than a singular lapse by the rookie.
Full Show: Thunder/Spurs & Tim McMahon
Q: What can the Thunder do to overcome the loss of Dubb and AJ Mitchell without two of their best players?
Tim McMahon suggested focusing on team defense, playmaking from other players, and leaning on Shai while improving ball protection and offensive creation from bench/role players to compensate for missing stars.
Hour 2: Kenny Gajewski & Thunder Fan Phone Calls
Q: How does the caller view the officiating and rule-bending in the game?
The caller agrees there was physicality but believes several actions should have been foul calls unless they were incidental, emphasizing the importance of sticking to the rulebook.
