Their voices SHOULD be the ones we are listening to when we consider the impact of adoption and the laws enacted around that issue. This podcast is full of ... more
The podcast talks about the experiences of adopted people, and the way the laws discriminate against them. Needs to be heard by a public that only thinks they understand adoptions impact.

Conversations center on adoptee rights, identity access, and the emotional fallout around adoption practices. Across episodes, the show frequently examines access to original birth records, open versus coercive adoption, and the legal/bureaucratic obstacles that shape personal identity. A sustained thread is the impact of spiritual and cultural narratives on adoptees and mothers, with a strong emphasis on advocacy, policy reform, and community-driven healing. Noteworthy elements include book-club style deep dives into Holy Hurt, survivor perspectives from adoptees and birth mothers, and a clear stance that open, transparent processes and better support are essential for healthier outcomes.
