Found this podcast from the One Broke Actor podcast and this is wonderful!! Gives me a nice lift for my actor business week and is really helping me visualize what I want/ where I want to be going. Great addition to my podcasts. Thanks Amy!
As a former guest I may seem biased, but The Actor Mindset is an incredible podcast. Amy gets to the heart of how your feelings are the roadmap to your purpose. And she's seriously one of the most engaging, hard hitting hosts around! You MUST check this one out.
As an aspiring actor it can be tough to stay positive or know how to take control of my own path; but Actor’s Mindset is supremely helpful and inspiring! And Amy is a very charming host that is super easy and fun to listen to!
Amy's humor, honesty and valuable insight make this podcast truly great. I'm an actor in my late twenties, and I recently experienced a slump- a minor crisis, if you will. Amy's podcast got me thinking about my life and my career, and has allowed me to look on my path with fresh eyes. Uplifting, raw, and sometimes sobering, I recommend this to any artist at any point on their journey.
Excellent! Heartfelt and profound. A must listen for all performers. So much truth.
I love Amy’s honesty and perspective on being an actor. Especially in the first episode she drops some great quotes about dealing with perfectionism. Give it a listen!
I love this podcast! It’s insightful and important and I can’t recommend it enough to my fellow actors/creatives. Amy’s ideas are not only super helpful, but also reassuring at the same time. It really makes me feel less alone in this crazy pursuit. The”why” episode is my favorite so far, but I can’t wait to hear what Amy has to say next!
Also, bonus points for being super well-produced and Amy’s voice is lovely to listen to!
I’m not an actor, but I still found Amy’s advice helpful as someone who is currently switching careers. It really is important to remember your why, no matter what your goals are. Looking forward to the next episode...keep up the great work Amy!
Daaaaamn! Amy is a literal rock star. The acting community NEEDS this type of work. Thank you Amy for sharing this with us. And thank you for being a ture example of overcoming perfectionism!!!!
Amy is such a lovely human being and I look forward to hearing her advice from her perspective. Every time I see Amy she is so vibrant, curious, and kind... all a great combination = for a winning podcast host! Definitely will look forward to what’s in store form this show :).
The first episode of this new podcast is about perfectionism and it is, fittingly, perfect. It’s short but dense with wisdom and hope. Amy is naturally charismatic and genuine as the host. This is an easy Rec for anyone pursuing any artistic endeavor.
