I’ve listened to this podcast since episode one and have done annual relistening starting from one. Lately it’s like they’re just focusing on the “holes.” Well that and Heated Rivalry of course. Just started today’s episode recap, and they’ve already spent the whole time trying to rewrite the episode instead of talking about a dead boy in a bus. We get it. The amount of skipping I have to do to just get to the actual story is frustrating. Would also love for them to do a little more research. Li... more
6/7 update: Look I really liked this podcast at the beginning. And I still like Kara. But it’s getting more obvious that Liza’s smoking is impacting the quality of the podcast. I had suspected she was high recording for a while but she just confirmed it on the pod. I have no problem with people doing what they say but One of the questions about whether you have an issue with substances is whether it impacts your job. And it’s starting to - she spaces, she interrupts, randomly changes topics, etc... more
Kara's section of the pod always takes me out of it because it's so choppy. She's constantly misspeaking or repeating words, heard for her to make a clear sentence.
I think Liza is throwing around the term "blackout" a little too loosely. It's been so often that I just don't buy it.. sure it's funnier when you said you did things "blackout" but let's be real, no you weren't.
Real blackouts are SCARY.
Been a listener since Day 1 and love SVU (older episodes mostly) but Liza needs to lay off the substances. Every week it’s another story about how she got blackout drunk and probably got in a fight with someone - and she’s proud of this? Last week she said on air that she was drinking a beer and smoking a joint while recording, and this week Kara had to bring her back because she gave dead air. Cool it with the pot, girl. And why the hell can’t anyone learn how to pronounce a name or drug before... more
Just listened to the latest episode Bound. Liza, you think animal abuse is funny? Because the animal is small it’s ok to terrify it? You’re disgusting . I’m out.
