I deleted social media and use this to keep me informed on progressive news and issues. The content is great and I value both hosts perspectives. I have trouble getting through every episode because of repeated conversations (animal fur, plastic surgery, etc), interrupting one another and the vibes being off between the hosts. It just is not landing for me.
I find this podcast very informative and fun to listen to! I do have one note though, I feel as though the episode with Alyssa was kind of mean. You sort of make fun of her quite a bit on other episodes and having her on the pod kind of felt like you were both laughing behind her back while she was left unaware. Other than that I think this is a great show!
Love this podcast! Y’all two are hilarious.
I just finished the Transracial episode and even though I’m still uncomfortable with the idea, the conversation was so nuanced that I left it thinking “this is what it feels like to learn from people who are seeking to understand, not win an argument.” I can see the nuance in this issue with much more clarity, and I appreciate a podcast that can facilitate these types of conversations. I’m just so impressed; thank you, please keep up the good work!
I absolutely love the show. I love the glimmers of hope and the ideas of ways to help or act and not just doom scroll! My one gripe: I listen when I’m walking the dogs and the transition sound sounds kind of like a car whizzing past. It scares the heck out of me every time! Would love a new sound but other than that keep doing what you’re doing!
