I love hearing them discuss the issues of the day, with such a sense of humor, it’s the only way to digest what’s going on in the world today. Also I learn things.
I love this pod. They break down legal things so even I can understand and they both have a great sense of humor. I love the banter. Great show!
I love this podcast, but what’s with all the childhood leukemia ads?
Brief Recess is funny, witty, and genuinely informative. Melissa and Michael have such a natural chemistry that makes you feel like you’re part of the conversation—I’d honestly love to be their friend. They bring incredible perspective and tackle big, often heavy issues in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming. Instead of getting lost in the weight of reality, they balance it with humor, knowledge, and real empathy. It’s thoughtful without being heavy, and engaging without trying too hard.
Truly the next dynamic duo. I understand why these two are friends, the rapport and chemistry is so palpable. This is delectable eavesdropping turned up to ten. No one is trying to be woke, just real people asking real questions and answering them (with facts!). I find myself listening to them talk about subjects I never would have made space for, simply because their banter and perspectives are so interesting to listen to. It just feels like an authentic safe space where friends are chatting.
