This is quickly becoming one of my favorite podcasts… of any genre. There is genuine insight about life and ministry. The movie analysis is on point. And it’s just a lot of fun to listen to three guys who obviously get along well and care so deeply about the subject matter.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for the last year or so and have enjoyed it so much! The conversations are thoughtful, engaging, fun, and helpful! One of my favorite aspects of the podcast is the camaraderie and conversations taking place among the three hosts (Kevin, Clark, and Mike). They provide a wonderful example of how to have challenging conversations without being overly serious or taking themselves to seriously (though they do take them seriously!). It’s a helpful podcast for youth ... more
Mike, Kevin, and Clark blend witty banter and sharp insight to provide some of the best cultural and theological analysis that exists for comic/superhero fans. Whether you’re a super geek or can’t stand the latest Marvel movie, you’ll grow to think more deeply about this piece of our culture and to see the connection between comics and theology. This podcast is especially beneficial for youth workers, as all 3 are veteran youth workers and address the implications for youth ministry.
Rooted Ministry is a gift to the church! Out of all the podcast Thanos to Theos is my favorite. I am excited every time I see a new episode drop. This podcast takes a unique and fun perspective on comics and culture to theology and ministry! A must listen for youth workers and their families.
If you are interested in nerdy things or have just been a fan of Marvel highly recommended it.
