Tesla takes a momentous professional leap and heads west to Colorado Springs. There he builds the experimental station that would allow him to understand the fundamental principles needed to build his world wireless system.
Tesla realizes he's reached the limits of experiments he can do on wireless transmission from his Manhattan laboratory when he almost lays waste to his entire neighborhood with an earthquake machine.
Tesla abandons x-rays, pioneers radio control, and tries to end war for all time--but not before blowing up what had been one of his closest personal and professional friendships.
I'm joined by Tesla biographer, Dr. Marc J. Seifer, for a discussion of his fascinating new book Tesla: Wizard at War: The Genius, the Particle Beam Weapon, and the Pursuit of Power on this very special episode of the podcast.

This is great, but the cadence will leave you crying since he gaps episodes by like a year…I still hold out hope he is going to return with a new episode after like a 4 year hiatus.
Hello!
I am 20 episodes deep into this educational journey through the life of Tesla, that feels both easily inspired by Tesla, but still critical and logical when it comes to evaluating him. And not putting him on a pedestal. This perspective makes learning about the figure much more enjoyable, as it’s not a mythical representation.
I also love how this podcast gives you a historical perspective of what’s happening around Tesla as we move through time to learn about his journey.
And I totally... more
With all the wildfires and disasters hitting valuable cities, it’s hard not to hear the conspiracy theories about weather control, or a giant laser… was Tesla crazy, or did he actually invent something??
The research undertaken by Stephen for his podcast and his presentation is fantastic. I am so glad I discovered this podcast. But I’ve been around since almost the start, and it has now been more than two years since the last show was uploaded. Us fans know Stephen’s family grew, but still, I’ve been hoping he would be able to come back to finish this awesome series in its entirety.
Really enjoying your podcast. Thank you for putting it together , so informative
